A documentary trailer by Adelante Film & TV on LAFD Station 9, the busiest fire station in the United States, located on skid row in Los Angeles, Ca.
All of the music is from the movie: The Island. The first part is the song called “The Island Awaits You”, the second is “Renovation”, and the last part is “My Name is Lincoln”. Enjoy!

This video was created by Albert Belez with KETK NBC 56 for The Noonday Volunteer Fire Department after we lost two of our brothers. Captain Kevin Williams and Firefighter Austin Cheek. The Last alarm at the end of this video was added by myself and was the actual last Alarm that was played across all fire and ems channels during the memorial service. Albert has been at many of our fire scenes and has become a very familiar face to us. He did a beautiful job making this video. Kevin and Austin, “We will never forget you guys. Rest In Peace Brothers.” The footage that was at the beginning of this video has been removed by request from KETK 56.

The following is a look inside of old Fire Station 4 which served the downtown area/Civic Center of L.A. between 1948 and 2007. The LAFD station was located at 800 North Main Street and is one of 106 fire stations serving the city of Los Angeles. The station was replaced by a newer structure located at 450 Temple Street. This station, along with many others, were the subject of “Then & Now: The LAFD”. The project, produced by Westlake Signal Group visited many stations that were part of the “Prop F” Replacement project that replaced many of these classic old buildings. Then & Now: The LAFD won the Telly Award for Excellence in Documentary Film Production among many other honors and presentations. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS BUILDING HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED.
