Ambulance 6-3 responding with Engine and Tower 6 to a fire alarm. Usually, we don’t go on fire alarms, but at this facility, the fire alarms and lifeline alarms are the same alarm. It’s a frequent visit, and of three of these calls since Sunday, this is the first good video. Good practice for driving, though.

This visit is to Fire Station 8, Irving, Texas. We had lunch here on 5-15-09 as part of the meeting put on by Box 4 at the Region 5 IFBA meeting. A very informative view of the up to date ems and fire equipment that Irving has. Chief Marino has done an outstanding job with his fire department.

Shreveport Fire Station 7 Host Signal 51 Group. Feb 28, 2010. Engine 7 catches several calls during supper and the meeting.

I spent the day down in Chicago and took some video with a new camera. I decided to just experiment around and put a movie together with Windows Media Player. Its been awhile so this is really just a practice run for future videos.
Sorry its so shaky in parts but I was using the Canon Powershot, which really is just designed for taking pictures. It can take video but since it is very small, it is hard to hold very steady and magnifies any movement.

Seattle Fire Department Engine 2 being dispatched and responding to 2219 4th Avenue. This was an Aid Response. Time out was 1642 on 1/17/09. Engine 2 is the busiest Engine company in the department. Station 2 is the oldest station in the department that’s still in use. Engine 2 is currently assigned a 2008 Emergency One. Medic 1 is seen responding to the call that it and Aid 2 were dispatched to at 1638.
