I’m thinking of putting a fire pit in my back yard, but I don’t know what the laws around here say about it, and I’m having trouble finding out anything. Does anyone know?
Each county and or city has their own particular ordinances. Check with the city hall; they’ll tell you who knows the code for your particular area. Foothill and mountain areas are stricter because of fire suppression in the summer.
