What training do you need to be a Fire Warden for the office?

The Office is located in Manchester, UK.

It has over 20 members of staff.

If you know of places to get training that would be very helpful

There is a company in Trafford Park, in Manchester who are very good. They are called Fire Training UK Ltd and we use them for all our fire training. They are very good value for money and we are pleased with their extinguisher servicing costs too (but you can just get the fire training if that’s all you want). Their phone number is 01618737031.

There are loads of places that do training. Its usually a 1 day course and covers things like the causes of fire, how to reduce the risk of fire and use of fire fighting equipment, along with info on the fire regulations.

I’m in London so can’t really give you any trainers – but I think places like St Johns Ambulance may offer it. Check http://www.sja.org.uk/sja/ – its usually called Fire Marshal training.

I’ve done it myself, as well as arranging training for others.
