WARNING: This video contains graphic footage of a tragic night-club fire. Viewer discretion is advised.

This tragedy was the result of many things including a lack of properly marked exits for the number of occupants, no fire sprinklers, flammable wall coverings, and a stupid pyrotechnic.

    This is so very …
This is so very disturbing to watch. This is a reminder to me how fragile life is and how we should appreciate everything the Good Lord gives us..
Just being at the wrong place at the wrong time can end your life in a hurry.
May God Keep Them and Guard Them.

I used to be. Logic …
I used to be. Logic tells me with 462 people jammed in there its surprising there weren’t more casualties. That EFFING PLACE was a TINDER BOX just waiting to go up, I saw it before when it was standing! What kind of fire inspectors they got down there in RI, they must be either CLUELESS or PAID OFF or both..This place should of been TORN DOWN years ago! This really ME OFF!

    @dontswin So smoke …
@dontswin So smoke killed them before the fire then? I thought that!

    Because of this …
Because of this tragic event, I am always reminded too look out for ALL the fire exits including windows that can be broken… !!

When life can be abruptly ended in 5 minutes you only have SECONDS to react. I couldn’t beleive people were standing there staring at the fire..

IMO if you see ANY hint of fire or smoke, no matter how small, GET OUT THAT SECOND!

I think with the proper exit strategy the death toll in this event could have been fewer.

    BE AWARE!

    As a former fire …
As a former fire fighter, I could add with much respect that if you were not out of there by 4:50 you were prolly not going make it..just from the smoke alone. All these years later I think about these poor souls(100) and hundreds injured..I wish I could of been one of the helpers on the steps pulling the ppl outta tthere..

It appears as though he was burned over 1/3 (33%) of his body. Anytime you exceed 30%, there is a significant probability that infection can, or will kill you.

This has got to be …
This has got to be one of the most horrific video’s, I had ever seen. I love the band Great White have listened to them since mid 80’s, regardless of who was to blame for this tragedy, whether the band or the club owners, I felt they all should’ve had common sense and to have known better in such a small place like that to let off pyrotechnics, over hundred ppl lost their lives due to the band and club owners not using their head, such a shame indeed!!!

    if everyone would …
if everyone would stop being so selfish and calmly exited, everyone would have gotten out, and if they showed all exits noone would have died in that fire wich could have been prevented.

    God bless all of …
God bless all of these people who suffered that night…and I’m not trying AT ALL to disrespect the dead, but if you look at 0:16, there is a man who is watching the band, without any emotion whatsoever. He is approximately mid-40s, wearing glasses, slightly balding. He is staring straight ahead while everyone else is having fun and dancing. I don’t know why, but there is something about his demeanor that is rather chilling…
