My dept still runs … My dept still runs with a Grumman Aerial Cat from 1992. They have looked at replacing it a couple of times, but instead sent it in for a complete overhaul. The thing is a beast and always faithful! Plus, she is just so gorgeous.
they could be set … they could be set up like our department, the rescue is first so that the rescue squad can get in and start doing their seach, then the engine isnt in the way when its hooking up to the hydrant
@atreyufan11091 … @atreyufan11091 The firefighters are probably assigned to their own truck so whatever is full first will be first out the door. Besides they are pretty close to eachother so it wouldnt be a problem which one gets there first.
they go out in the … they go out in the order of which one is fuly manned and ready to go first doesnt matter which one goes first as long as they get there quickly AND safely
Possibly because it … Possibly because it was in a different district and they were ’second-in’ – in which case the engine wouldn’t be expected to be first.
Those red Fire … Those red Fire Trucks on there both have a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine, and so that old white one has a Detroit Diesel 6V92 turbo engine.
