    Our protocols say …
Our protocols say you never approach, touch, or attempt a rescue of a person near a down power line until the power company has arrived and guarranted the power off. You don’t know just by looking at it. We do have a Tic Tracer to detect electricity… sub stations try to reset and thus send a burst of electricity to see if it trips again. You don’t want to be around when that happens. I don’t agree either with being on that aerial ladder so close to the power lines.

how is it obvious the lines were shut down?? you NEVER truly know if the lines are off unless you touch them or have a special reader…..even if the power company says they are shut off, you don’t ever trust them until they test it for you

wow, that looks kinda dumb…..who raises a ladder, RIGHT NEXT to the power lines and THEN sprays water over the top of them….I hope the lines were shut off…there were probably better ways to go about this
