ok first of all im from ohio ive been reading NFPA 10 (national fire protection agency) standards for portable extinguishers. first i would ask the local fire department what you need to do. if you don’t want to do that NFPA 10 says that it recommends two A type fire extinguishers. i personally recommend 2-3 2.5 pound A-B-C type fire extinguishers. put one under the sink one in the garage and one in the bedroom.
