If the home owner is gone, and a neighbor reports the house on fire, what will the fire department do to gain access to a "fortress" type home that has a security gate and highly reinforced fencing around the property?
Most times, a homeowner like this has given the PD and the FD access codes to the gate.
Also, I would assume the homeowner has great security, which would generate a call or signal to their security system, who would then dispatch the FD with appropriate information.

They will go right through it with whatever it takes. They are obligated to do so.

If the fire has burned a hole through the roof, or a window is broken or something like that, they will just spray water in through the opening. That’s probably what usually happens anyway as one of the first things to go is the roof. They also have axes, and unless the door is solid steel, they should be able to bust through it.
