For example, two trashcans. Where I live, the DMV allows you to practice in their lot where they have the cones set up. This is the same lot you take your test in. This is open to the public until a certain time in at night. I would check to see if you can do that at you local motor vehicle department. I've never heard of the police ot DOT letting people borrow them. Don't even think about taking them either. Work w/ your family to create something else that would work.
