Fire

When there was a fire how was it that my mom helped my friend to pull the fire alarm in a fire with breaking the glass? Why was it that she had me to go to another fire alarm and pull it. Was it normal for me to run back to the other alarm and tell my friend how to break the glass? I asked my mom if I should pull one alarm and she said go for ti. How did my mom allow my friend to do the alarm and she kicked the glass for him and he pulled the handle.
