    Cool cable shot.

You could do a set with pieces based around various alarms and sirens.
A moody fog horn number maybe and a WWII air raid siren piece.
How about an emergency service vehicle siren medley?

    Then again……

OK. I’m going now……I’ll get my coat.

A lift station. Still involves pulling. If you’re thinking of old coded ‘pull’ stations that had a break glass cover before you could open them, or a 4251-30 for example, that still involves a pulling action, for the simple reason you do not activate it without pulling something. There are very old ‘pull’ stations that do not need a pulling action, made by IBM before it’s line was sold to Simplex. Basically, you’re wrong.
