EV training in Emerald, Fire Red, and Diamond?

OK, I have heard that there is a method to effort values, and it is using ten vitamins on one stat. This will give you 100 effort value points on that stat which is the equivalent of 25 points upon leveling up. Does this method work in all pokemon games (New and Old)?

Yes, that still works both new and old and will net you 25 points. Although that usually messes up my count for some reason so I normally just do it the longer way without items. Most others however still do it the vitamin way plus power-equips.

Do Navy JAG officers receive any fire arms training?

Posted by admin on May 5th, 2010 and filed under fire training | 5 Comments »

not the JAG officers who go to the Army Law school for 3 years but the officers who already have their Law Degree and are joining the Navy as newbies with no military experience

Question is confusing. All JAGs (every service component) are licensed attorneys, even the "newbies" as you put it.

Typically, none of them carry firearms in their daily duties. If deployed, they carry a weapon, just like everyone else. That said, JAGs are weapons qualified.

Can you volunteer for a professional fire dept. if you are employed by them?

Posted by admin on April 30th, 2010 and filed under fire training | 1 Comment »

I work for Winston-Salem Fire Dept. in North Carolina. We are asked to volunteer for fuinctions such as agility test, training fires,etc.. Most believe this will help in obtaining promotions.

Any functions not directly related to your employment as a firefighter, which occur during your off-duty time, can be volunteered for, such as the times you list in your question. On our department, we volunteer to help with community projects, help with a local bingo fundraiser (how we pay for extras at firehouse), and other activities. As far as promotions, it always looks good if you are there to help with the "extras", not just there for your shift.

is this a good salary for someone graduating high school? I plan on being a fire fighter?

Posted by admin on April 28th, 2010 and filed under fire training | 2 Comments »

37,131-$52,259 dollars…I’m 17 a senior in high school I plan on participating in duel-enrollment that would allow me to go to a fire training academy so I can get a certificate from the state of Florida indicating compliance in fire standards while I’m in high school. which would allow me to be employed as a fire fighter

That’s pretty average for dual certified FF (FF & EMT or EMT-P). The fire academy is tough by itself let alone finishing your last year in high school. Best of luck to you in the dual enrollment.

what are training points in fire emblem radiant dawn for the wii console?

what are training points in fire emblem radiant dawn? What do they do? How do I get them?

U mean bonus experience? You get them when you complete a chapter and other things such as fulfilling a certain requirement specified during the dialogue b4 the fight (i.e. amount of houses still standing in Pt.3 Ch.9). They pretty much give experience to your soldiers, but they only gain 3 stats when they level up with it. You use them at the base. It’s under "Manage."
