They do not shoot at police officers but in military boot camp they definitely undergo live fire training.

Pokemon Fire Red: Training for the E4?
I know this question is very outdated but I sold my gameboy and DS. About a week ago I bought a new Gameboy Advance SP, I kept Fire Red and once I get a new DS I want to transfer my Fire Red Pokemon to DP/SSHG/DL etc…
So my current pokemon and level are:
Lv.51 Charizard: Rash Nature
Blast Burn
Fire Blast
Flamethrower
Sunny Day
LV.45 Nidoking: Bold Nature
Megahorn
Thrash
Surf
Cut
Lv.45 Pidgeot: Docile Nature
Fly
Wing Attack
Aerial Ace
Featherdance
Lv.45 Primeape: Impish Nature (Yes, I know bad nature for a melee)
Focus Punch
Cross Chop
Seismic Toss
Rock Smash (Want to be replaced)
Lv.45 Arbok: Timid Nature

So my help needed is as follows:
1. Where should I train? (Trained 40-45 at Kindle Road)
2. Do I need to change my team?
3. If I dont change Primeape, what should I replace Rock Smash with?
4. Are the rest of my abilities ok?
5. What level should I challenge the E4?
Also, should I replace Raichu with Zapdos?
I have both of the water pokemon he mentioned, but they are still level 25 and I’m training Vaporeon for an EV team
Between Megapunch and Megakick, which would you reccomend?
And, (last question) would Dragon Claw suffice as a replacement for Fire Blast?
1. I trained at the connecting routes between Fuschia and Lavender with the Vs. Seeker. The trainers’ pokemon get leveled up after a while.
2. I might change either Arbok or Nidoking because you don’t really need 2 poison types. I’d suggest a good water type such as Vaporeon or Lapras.
3. I would replace Rock Smash with maybe Protect so you can scout out the opponents moves, but I personally don’t like Primeape, so I can’t really help there.
4. I might give Charizard a flying/other type move, all fire moves may be bad if you need to use Charizard against a fire-resistant pokemon.
5. You can actually challenge them now. I remember I beat the E4 with pokemon just below Lv. 50. But if you want to save revives/full restores, i would just go with Lv. 50-55. They’ll level up while fighting.
