What do I need to score on my ASVAB to do Emergency, Fire & Rescue for the Navy?

Posted by admin on January 1st, 2011 and filed under fire rescue | 2 Comments »

I am very interesting in joining the Navy. My father was a Firefighter and lost his life in the line of duty when I was sixteen working for the County of Dallas Texas. I want to do Emergency, Fire & Rescue for the Navy and was wondering if anyone knows what I need to score on my ASVAB to qualify for that job? Also my credit is kinda of poor which is not holding me back from joining but I was wondering do you need to have any type of security clearance to do Emergency, Fire & Rescue?

No such thing as a Navy rating known as "Emergency, Fire & Rescue".

Lauderhill Fire Rescue, (Engine 57, Quint 73, Rescue 73), extricate a woman trapped after a collision with a small semi. Rescuers had to cut the car roof off. Traffic on the 6-lane road was shut down in both directions at one point. Temperature was in the mid-90s on this hot sunny South Florida afternoon, with humidity right up there as well.

The woman appeared to be fine, with some cuts and bruises, but it was hard to tell from a distance. I just happened to be around. Lauderhill is in the greater Ft. Lauderdale area.
